Design Inspiration in Tenerife

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Gran Meliá Palacio de Isora in Tenerife — and as someone who has worked in hospitality design, I couldn’t help but soak in every detail of this breathtaking place.

From the architecture that perfectly blends grandeur with serenity, to the lush subtropical gardens that feel like a living painting — every corner of the resort is curated with intention and elegance.

But the real showstopper for me was the interior of Nami Asian Bistro. Two dramatic, backlit features resembling stylized palm fronds anchor the space, casting a warm, dreamlike glow. The ambiance they create is nothing short of magical — a masterclass in lighting and spatial storytelling. 🌴💡

The hotel itself is a design marvel. Nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and Mount Teide, it seamlessly combines modern luxury with timeless Spanish influences. Whether you’re a design lover, an architect, or simply in need of aesthetic inspiration, I can’t recommend this place enough.
