Led by celebrity hairstylist Sheldon Edwards—renowned for grooming icons such as Toni Rüdiger, Novak Djokovic, Lewis Hamilton, Michael B. Jordan, and Khaby Lame—HD Cutz is more than just a barbershop. It’s a cultural landmark, a grooming sanctuary, and a meticulously curated experience.
Supremati was honoured to be commissioned to reimagine the flagship HD Cutz location in London, delivering a bold, luxurious, and futuristic interior that reflects the strength of the brand and caters to its exclusive international clientele.
Lighting as a Core Design Element
Lighting is far more than an aesthetic afterthought—it’s a central pillar of interior design. Designing HD Cutz London, we knew that precision lighting would be essential to elevate the space. From task lighting for stylists to ambient lighting for clients, every lighting choice was intentional, contributing to both form and function.
To achieve this, we selected Astro, the Can 100 Track Light—a modular lighting system that allowed for seamless integration throughout the barbershop. It provided the sharp, focused illumination needed at the workstations while complementing the overall futuristic design vision.
Functionality as the Foundation of Luxury
Great design doesn’t just look good—it works effortlessly. At HD Cutz, functionality is the foundation of luxury. Each zone—whether the waiting areas, styling stations, or VIP rooms—was carefully planned to ensure efficient movement and a seamless experience for both clients and stylists.
The layout includes:
A professional barber academy
Streamlined workstations
A private VIP grooming room
Materials such as Bauwerk-painted ceilings, large-format porcelain tiles, American walnut panelling, and tall mirrors combine with dramatic LED lighting to strike a balance between masculinity and elegance.

Every detail, from spatial flow to lighting temperature, enhances the transformative power of the grooming experience.
