Global Inspirations for Luxury Interior Design: From Cannes to Kuwait

At Supremati, a luxury interior design studio based in London, we create bespoke interiors that are timeless, elegant, and deeply personal. Guided by our founder and creative director, Magdalena Gruszczynska, we draw on over 20 years of global experience to deliver spaces that are both artful and functional—celebrating heritage, modernity, and the refined tastes of our clientele.

Designing with a Global Perspective

Luxury interior design is no longer confined by geography. At Supremati, our projects span from historic Grade I listed homes in Belgravia to contemporary villas in Kuwait and India, and serene waterfront residences in Cannes. Our design ethos reflects this international reach—fusing cultural richness with the timeless sensibilities of European style.

Many of our clients are cosmopolitan individuals with multiple residences around the world. They value interior design that echoes their journeys, tells a story through curated pieces, and enhances their day-to-day living through thoughtful spatial planning. Our goal is to create cohesive, luxurious interiors that reflect both their lifestyle and legacy.

The Art of Curated Luxury

Magdalena Gruszczynska describes her approach as a “collector’s style.” Each project is tailored to incorporate personal collections, fine art, rare antiques, and bespoke furniture into beautifully harmonized interiors. Her background—ranging from The Studio at Harrods to Sinot Yacht Design—has refined her ability to balance opulence with restraint.

A recent Supremati project in Belgravia involved the transformation of a listed townhouse into an elegant canvas for the client’s vast art collection. Each room was designed to celebrate natural light, texture, and craftsmanship—while also paying homage to the property’s architectural significance.

London Luxury: Where Heritage Meets Innovation

Operating out of London, Supremati is privileged to work on some of the city's most iconic homes. From Regent’s Park villas to Wimbledon conservation homes, we take pride in restoring, reimagining, and revitalizing spaces steeped in history.

For example, in a six-story architectural gem originally designed by Thomas Cubitt, Supremati delivered a full interior redesign. The brief focused on enhancing heritage features while introducing modern luxury finishes, bespoke joinery, and handcrafted furniture. We managed every detail—from spatial reconfiguration to procurement—ensuring a seamless experience for our client.

Another recent project in Wimbledon challenged us to reimagine a sprawling 9-bedroom home for a modern family. Our solution introduced a grand oak-panelled office, a refined kitchen-dining space, and a living area that draws the lush outdoors in through expansive glazing and a sculptural fireplace. A tranquil master suite, a 12-metre-long dressing room, and a private studio elevated the upper floors into a true sanctuary.

Global Inspiration, Local Expertise

Supremati’s international work is united by a clear design philosophy: each project must reflect the soul of its owner and the spirit of its location. Whether it’s integrating Middle Eastern architectural elements into a coastal villa or preserving Georgian-era cornices in a London townhouse, our work celebrates cultural depth and meticulous detail.

Magdalena’s childhood in the Gothic town of Szydłowiec, Poland, infused her with a deep respect for architectural history and beauty. That influence, paired with decades of professional experience and a passion for the arts, forms the foundation of Supremati’s distinctive aesthetic.

A Collector’s Home, A Designer’s Vision

At Supremati, we believe true luxury lies in individuality. Our interiors are designed to evolve—layered with meaning, shaped by artistry, and rooted in the client’s story. From Cannes to Kuwait and right here in London, we craft homes that are not just lived in, but deeply loved.
